Looking for a family-friendly hotel in Quezon City for your next staycation? During Father’s Day weekend, our little family checked into Alino Hotel in New Manila to celebrate Father’s Day, squeeze in a few work meetings, and hopefully get some much-needed rest in between.

As parents know, staycations with a baby don’t exactly mean sleeping in until noon and lounging by the pool all day. They usually involve packing half the house, planning around naps, and making sure everyone stays happy—including the grown-ups.
Thankfully, Alino Hotel made things surprisingly easy.
What started as a simple Father’s Day weekend staycation quickly became a memorable experience filled with warm hospitality, thoughtful touches, good food, and little moments that perfectly reflected the hotel’s promise of Alagang Filipino or ALINO.
Here are five reasons why this family-friendly hotel in Quezon City won us over—plus a few honest insights on what you can expect if you’re planning your own stay.
1. This Quezon City Hotel Has Personality—and It’s Proudly Filipino
One thing we immediately noticed about Alino Hotel was that it didn’t feel like a generic city hotel.
The property proudly embraces Filipino culture through its artwork, interiors, and guest experience.
As we explored the hotel, we found ourselves stopping to admire the various art installations thoughtfully displayed around the property, complete with descriptions that shared the stories behind them.
It’s a small touch, but one that adds character and creates a stronger sense of place—something many modern hotels tend to overlook.
The atmosphere is modern and polished without feeling intimidating. Instead, it feels warm, welcoming, and distinctly Filipino.
The hotel’s “Alagang Filipino” philosophy isn’t just something printed on a brochure—it’s something you genuinely experience throughout your stay, from the design to the service.
2. It’s Actually Designed With Families in Mind
Many hotels claim to be family-friendly. Alino actually shows it.
We learned that families with older children can request the hotel’s adorable teepee setups, which instantly transform a room into a mini adventure for little guests. Since Zoey is still too young to appreciate glamping aesthetics, we requested a crib instead.
When we entered our room and saw everything already prepared for him, it was one of those small parenting victories that instantly lowers your stress level.
The room itself was spacious enough for both work and play, which was especially important for us since we brought a combination of family time and business meetings into our staycation.
What impressed us most were the thoughtful room details. Depending on the room category, guests can enjoy conveniences such as a microwave and mini-pantry setup, Nespresso machine, large smart TV, and modern bathrooms designed for comfort.
We also appreciated the little things: a catch-all tray where I could neatly place my keys, jewelry, and other small essentials, plus a QR code that allowed guests to easily explore room features and hotel information.
These details may seem simple, but together they make the stay feel more intuitive and comfortable—especially for families, remote workers, and longer-stay guests.
3. Even Fur Babies Are Welcome Here
Another feature we loved is that Alino Hotel is pet-friendly.
As fur parents ourselves, we’re always happy to discover hotels that understand pets are family too.
While our beloved Bubbles stayed home this time, knowing that future staycations can include him makes Alino even more appealing.

Between the baby-friendly amenities, family-oriented atmosphere, and pet-friendly policies, this QC hotel feels designed for modern families in all shapes and sizes.
If you’re searching for a pet-friendly hotel in Quezon City, this is definitely one to consider.
4. Kutchara Served More Than Just Good Food
No staycation is complete without memorable meals, and Kutchara, Alino Hotel’s signature restaurant, became one of the highlights of our weekend.
For dinner, we enjoyed a feast of Kansi, Calamares, Grilled Squid, and their famous Ensaladang Talong paired with a variety of flavorful sawsawan that elevated every bite. The dishes felt comforting yet refined—the kind of Filipino food that makes you want to slow down and savor your meal.
But what truly made the experience memorable was the service.
Jean took care of us with such warmth and attentiveness that every meal felt personal. Restaurant Manager Ms. Daisy went above and beyond when I quietly asked if they could help arrange a birthday greeting for Zed.

The surprise was beautifully executed, and seeing his reaction turned an ordinary dinner into one of our favorite memories from the trip.
The next morning, real life quickly caught up with us. What was supposed to be a leisurely breakfast became a morning of back-to-back meetings and calls.
Once again, the Kutchara team came to the rescue.
Ms. Daisy kindly arranged for our plated breakfast to be delivered to our room so we could continue working without missing out on the most important meal of the day.
We enjoyed their Longsilog and Bangsilog, both of which tasted wonderfully homemade and came in generous portions.
Earlier that morning, we also got to sample the breakfast buffet. While it wasn’t the largest buffet spread we’ve encountered, it offered exactly what we wanted: delicious, comforting food done well.
Standouts included the Champorado paired with Danggit, Relleno, Longganisa, freshly baked breads, and our personal favorite—a flaky Pain au Chocolat that disappeared from the plate far too quickly.
5. Relaxation, Recreation, and Room to Gather
Whether you’re planning a family staycation, a couple’s getaway, or even a corporate event, Alino Hotel offers amenities that cater to a variety of guests.
The pool area immediately caught our attention with its premium feel. We particularly loved the oversized padded lounge chairs that seemed designed for lazy afternoons, family bonding, or simply enjoying a few quiet moments while the kids splashed nearby.
The gym is compact but complete, providing everything needed for a quick workout.
We also had the opportunity to see some of the hotel’s meeting and function spaces, which can accommodate up to 200 guests. The rooms looked modern, flexible, and well-suited for corporate gatherings, celebrations, workshops, and social events.
It’s another example of how Alino successfully balances business and leisure under one roof.
Final Thoughts on our Alino Hotel QC Staycation
Some hotels impress you with grand lobbies. Others impress you with luxury amenities.
Alino Hotel impressed us with something far more meaningful: thoughtful hospitality.
]Throughout our Father’s Day weekend stay, we kept noticing small details that made our experience easier, more comfortable, and more enjoyable—from Zoey’s crib setup and the room’s thoughtful conveniences to the personalized service at Kutchara and the warmth of every team member we encountered.
Special thanks to OIC Front Office Manager Ms. Ems, Guest Relations Officer Ms. Cherry, Jean, and Restaurant Manager Ms. Daisy for making our stay extra memorable.

Their kindness perfectly embodied the spirit of Alagang Filipino that Alino Hotel proudly champions.
As we packed our bags and headed home, we found ourselves already talking about a return visit.
Next time, hopefully we’ll be back with Mom, Ate, and maybe even Bubbles too.
Because the best hotels don’t just give you a place to stay.
They give you reasons to come back. Maraming salamat po, Alino.
